2014 Hybrid cars

Since there hasn’t been much motorcycle news this week so rummaging through emails I found this week’s press release from KBB.com or Kelley Blue Book (again) this time announcing their favorite hybrid cars under $30,000 (February 2014).  Of course you are free to disagree with their choices because they are based on their own writers decisions which is no different than your own!

You can argue that making these high tech cars consume more toxic materials, but in reality the only thing that departs from the current standard is in the form of batteries, since every other component is already being used in existing motor vehicles. However the most important thing to remember is that technology is constantly improving to not only reduce cost but creating a demand for an energy source or storage system that is more efficient and consumes less toxic materials. Where there is a demand there will be solution eventually. We’ve has seen it before remember – just look up the history of batteries!
