2015 Yamaha YZF-R25

The new Yamaha YZF-R25 has finally been released in Indonesia. If you haven’t already read prior posts the R25 is Yamaha’s newest 250cc motorcycle. I haven’t seen or received any news on whether the R25 will be a world wide release or even an Australian release.

Based on what I know the YZF-R25 has an appearance that it completely up to date with the latest sports bikes in the Yamaha Range. (Although I have to admit that it does look very similar – like an updated YZF-R15.) Nonetheless it is clearly more edgy and genuine sports bike style and weight than the comparable and conservative CBR250R or the slightly more sporty but bloated Ninja 300. Where’s the Suzuki version – who knows!?

So in anticipation and interest I have listed the important specifications for the R25. It is clearly competitive with all the existing manufacturers and thanks to a different style and great looking parts, like a proper rear swing am design and nice wheels helps.

This could and probably be another great choice in the 250cc class if made available here and certainly better than the YZF-R15 that is currently for sale here.
