Blast from the past – Motorcycle Pictures 11 – Suzuki Hayabusa

Blast from the past – reposting old stuff but … Once again I can only approximate that these pictures where originally posted during 2006/07.  Only the internet archive site could possible give a more precise date – this update: 12.12.2021: These Suzuki Hayabusa pictures where sent in to me to post on the site – before Instagram, Tumblr, Facebook etc.. and the world was nicer place – nostalgia folks. That is how old this website is. I have posted them back here, admittedly where they belong!

Set 1 : Normal Chung from Hawaii has sent in these great shots (and more) of his bike.  Looks stock to non-motorcyclists but to those in the the know you can tell there’s a ton of mods have been done, including a completely custom sub-frame ! Thanks to him and his students I’ve decided to award the POTM – August 2006.

Set 2 : Tone from Aust sent this great track day pic.  Fantastic I say! – August 2006.

Set 3 : Kurt has sent in even more pictures of his Hayabusa – you won’t miss this one – looks fantastic hey ! – August 2006

Set 4 : Adam Prince has sent in some great beach shots and here’s one of them ! – August 2006.

Set 5 : This is Paul Cannon’s Hayabusa Trike from the UK. He can’t walk but he can still ride! The rear has been designed to carry his wheel chair!  Lovely details that obviously work thus the POTM for October 2006.

Set 6 : This is Dinho’s bike from Brazil!  The pic is sent in is from “Cordillera de los Andes” and about 6400 meters up in the air.  It was taken on a 8000mile trip around Argentina, Chile and Uruguai.

Set 7 : This is Rick’s bike from Australia.  A unique colour combo so far that I’ve seen.  Once again a good looking bike. – October 2006

Set 8 : This is Arsia’s Hayabusa from France.  It won a prior POTM award and I’ve included another pic here!  You really need a double take to realise what he’s actually done.  Another stealth mod.

Set 9 : This is P Judge’s ’99 Hayabusa. A genuine 200+mph motorcycle in standard trim.  That’s serious performance whatever language you’re talking in.

Set 10 : This is Phonez’s bike from New Jersey.  I think I removed it from the gallery’s during the last move – but it back again.
