CFMOTO 450MT

Welcome to the CFMOTO 450MT motorcycle specifications and showroom review for 2026. The 500cc adventure touring motorcycle class is receiving some attention lately and this is another model you can consider. So is the CFMOTO 450MT any good and worth your attention?

In terms of styling the 450MT looks like a contemporary rally motorcycle. The fairing and seat all minimal and as standard engine plumbing and wheels look like a road legal form of a rally motorcycle. The unfortunately design problem is that it and it’s competitors look very similar. However there are lot of official cosmetic accessories you can add the bike.

The engine and tech specifications are class standard which is to be expected. The engine is shared with the other 450cc models in the CFMOTO range like the 450SR sports bike, 450NK semi-naked and 450CL cruiser and by all accounts is a decent unit. Long gone are they days when each bike had different engines so each model has different power tuning. The 450MT engine variant produces a torque output are the same as it’s competitors which is interesting despite the slight capacity reduction in the 450MT. The tech suite includes blue-tooth app connection CFMOTO ride app, LED lighting, ABS and traction override, the usual stuff. 

Is the CFMOTO 450MT worth buying or at least doing some further research? The answer is of course yes. Although not much is known about the longevity and so forth, but CFMOTO designs, tech and gadgets have improved noticeably since its partnership with KTM. However it is a pity that KTM have not benefited as much – as expected I guess, it’s more than corporate peril. However this is about CFMOTO and if you’ve been taken in by the slightly discounted price tag than why not give it a go.
