CFMOTO 450SRS
CFMOTO 450SRS

There are currently very few motorcycles in June 2025 that grab my attention. Fortunately there is one model that I’ve been meaning to write about, so welcome to the CFMOTO 450SRS showroom and Specification review.

The CFMOTO 450SRS is the more premium version of the regular 450SR also known as the 450SS in some countries. Unlike other manufacturers aka Kawasaki the price increase gets you tangible improvements other than a different colour variant. The 450SRS features adjustable USD forks, Brembo front brakes, BOSCH traction control, abs brakes, quick shifter, Tyre pressure monitor TPMS, update display and phone integration but most of you a get a single sided swing arm!

CFMOTO as a manufacturer have had a great run and there has only been one significant recall related to the rear brakes (REC- 006034). Since the system has been replaced it works out well. I like they way the brand works in Australia, honest and relatively open which are great ways to stable a long lasting reputable brand. Yes CFMOTO is a Chinese brand which my deter some buyers but you can always sticker out the branding if you are embarrassed – which is real thing in the LAMS class – and mostly for younger riders.

I love the look of any bike or motorcycle with single sided swing arm. The 450SRS with a single sided swing arm looks cool and a technical feature you simply do not see on mass market models let alone a LAMS model. There may be many fake-facts surrounding single sided swing arm tech so I’m not going to add or subtract to them. It’s 2025 and tech has come a long way since the 70’s. The CFMOTO 450 is already a secretly desirable model in the LAMS class so the 450SRS model will only add to its street cred beyond that.
