CFMOTO 700MT

Welcome to the CFMOTO 700MT motorcycle specifications and showroom review for 2026. While the Adventure and Rally replica 500cc class has a number of models to choose from the 700cc class which covers the 650-750cc displacement has very few. However one of them is the relatively new CFMOTO 700MT, so is this worth your attention?
The latest trend in the adventure motorcycle class is the rally replica styling. However the 700MT does not follow that trend, instead the older BMW GS design language but without the flat twin and Single sided swingarm. It looks good just a little dated. And it is the design that sells the 700MT because the finishing from a more expensive model that helps overcome the specification of lower engine power and noticeably more body mass.
The engine and tech specifications good for a 700cc bike but it is a reduction in capacity from the 800cc version so there is nothing particular interesting. However in terms of tech there a few additional features that aren’t usual. That includes standard heated bars and seats, TPMS Tyre pressure monitoring system and both USB A and C.
Is the CFMOTO 700MT worth buying or at least doing some further research? The answer is of course yes. The only comments I can make is that I prefer the look of the 450MT but the just over 10K AUD pricing it is hard to ignore and it is perhaps a new sweet spot pricing in 2026?
