Foundation Galactic Frontier – T2 Combat Craft – Gazer G21

Welcome to the continuing video game review of Foundation : Galactic Frontier. (June 2026) In this part I’m reviewing the: T2 Combat Craft – Gazer G21. This craft is uses Beam weapons but the next tier in the class compared to the entry level T1 – Spindle K93. I do enjoy the vehicle tech elements of gaming so theses write ups keep me engaged. 

Combat Crafts are the ‘fighter spacecraft’ that you can build on your flagship, the Gram, Dermezel and Opportunity. There is a Flagship hangar facility that you can develop them and where they are stored. The Combat Craft mechanic is heavily built into the overall game play and it is important that you build and upgrade them. Note that while they add to your overall power stat these are disposable in battle so you need to keep building and repairing them. 

The T2 Combat Craft – Gazer G21 is the first of the Tier 2 class of combat craft in the Beam range. The upgrade is noticeable as you can see form the stats below. For now there isn’t a story to this particular ship that I could read in the game.  The T2 Combat Craft specifications are effected by the the level of your Flag ship, Research centre (tech tree) and the level of your guild and many more! 

In terms of design the Gazer G21 is a little more fancy than what we have seen so far, with multiple movable wings or fins. It reminds me of the space ship from R-Type arcade game. This space craft is not in the Foundation TV series – unless I was not watching carefully enough.  

So far the game has revealed its self to be quite deep in terms of the game mechanics. Those into game mechanics will enjoy trying to optimise the many different stats of the craft and equipment available. On the other hand casual players can just focus on the overall level number!
