2018 Kawasaki ZX-6R Ninja

Kawasaki Ninja ZX6-R 636

The Kawasaki ZX-6R Ninja 636 is one of a number of 600cc-ish super sports motorcycles you can buy. There are two versions of the ZX-6R, the regular ZX-6R which is promoted as a track racer as it fits into the under 600cc class and this one the ZX6R 636. The ZX-6R 636 is the model which most road riders buy due to the to slightly increase engine capacity means more power and torque which is what Kawasaki’s are known for and the softer rider.

Historically Kawasaki designs have always been on the conservative styling side of things, there are no models that stood from the crowd. I’ve seen all their best models and to me it is clear that the designs are for practical reasons rather than being bleeding edge.  The ZX-6R 636 Ninja’s shape  continues their history of conservative designs hence it looks nice but nothing more.

The technical features of the ZX-6R Ninja doesn’t stand out in the class. At a stretch the only feature is the 636cc engine and tuning for mid-range power. Mind you it has all the latest traction control and ABS brakes.

Once again nothing further I can add to the review of the Kawasaki ZX-6R Ninja. It’s a good motorcycle with the latest features for the sports bike rider and if you like the look then this bike for you.  However the price is a little high at over $17,000 on the road.
