Blast from the past series

History is important and my past posts reveal how my views and experiences have changed over the years. You can’t ignore history or rewrite it despite the smart arses that say history is written by the victors. Maybe in the context of military/political war but deaths and destruction is hard to hide and should be remembered so we don’t make the same mistakes. You can’t keep repeating history making the same mistakes over and over and expecting no one to notice. Life is not maths and to forgive but don’t forget is what I think these days.

So I’ve been trying to work out a way of reposting articles I’ve written in the last 10 years another sites to a central location (this one). So I have decided to call the the next series of posts ‘the Blast from the past’ series. It will be a repost of really old stuff from other sites I’ve contributed to. Many sites no longer exist which is sad but it only strengthens my resolve to gather it all together. Some are cringe worthy but I wrote it!
