Honda CRF250 Rally

Honda CRF250 Rally

The Honda CRF 250 Rally is another newly released motorcycle and it’s the smallest adventure motorcycle you can buy at the moment. As we know the CRF model designation means that it is a motocross motorcycle and not for road use. However the new CRF 250 Rally is road ready and LAMS or learner motorcycle approved.

In term of looks the CRF250 Rally definitely a good looking motorcycle especially in the HRC or Honda Racing Team inspired clouds and body work. The design is inherently familiar as a rally motorcycle but evolutionary since it does look completely up to date in 2018. It will look at home on the road or off road on a rally etc… as it’s name suggests.  This is not a unique situation in 2018 as we had race replica motorcycles and now we have rally replicas just like in the 80’s with WRC with the homologation specials like the Subaru WRX and Mitsubishi EVO series.

In terms a specifications has the same but modded CBR250 engine and has features like a aluminium swing arm, ABS the you can turn off, LED lighting, upgraded USD forks and cool looking spoked wheels as standard and likewise missing on the road going version. For the price around $7300 it’s not overpriced for the spec which is what we expect.

Is the CRF250 Rally worth a considering? Definitely yes, it’s one of the few commuter, on and off road motorcycles at 250cc that anyone can ride and buy. The main reason why the Honda CRF250 Rally is the best model in the 250cc adventure class than the rest is that it looks great! a real rally replica  math’s not a sport bike for a change.
