Welcome to the Honda XR190 specifications and showroom review for 2020. The XR190 is also called the Honda AG XR or XR190L or XR190CT and is a relatively new model (from 2017) to the Honda model lineup. It is a farm bias motorcycle, previously classed as an agricultural motorbike but can be registered for on road use.

In terms of engine and technology, the XR190 (AG XR) version comes with the bar work to protect it’s vial parts and places to mount panniers or other storage and the regular XR190L comes without. Honda claims the XR190 it is the first fuel injected farm bike and replaces the XR190CT which is the carbureted version. It also features a clutch lock which means you don’t have to find neutral to idle. Extra large front mud flaps and extra large side stand on both sides adds to farmer convenience. The engine is also air cooled hence less maintenance.

The most noticeable selling point of the XR190 or AG XR is that the color scheme and graphics are  essentially a derivative of the enduro XR series and this adds visual sportiness to a farm hack. the XR190 is also road legal and LAMS Compliant which is a bonus. However this is primarily a farm motorbike so it’s focus is farm type transport so don’t expect road or even dual purpose handing or power delivery.

As a result the Honda XR190 / AG XR is the most popular farm motorcycle in Australia and the best selling farm motorbike in 2019 selling 481 units. This sales number is down from 659 in 2018.
