2024 Favourite Motorcycles – MV Agusta Brutale Series

For 2023/2024 The MV Agusta Brutale Series is a set of great looking motorbikes with performance to match. I’ve probably said this many times in regards to other motorcycles but it true when I say that I’ve always liked this model. 

The MV Agusta Brutale 1000 RS and RR  Assen in particular are an typical examples of Italian design language at it’s best. They just look so good, well proportioned and suit what they where built for. In the Brutale’s case aggressive looks and aggressive performance. It is one of the fastest and powerful naked motorcycles currently on sale and one of the best looking. Two simple reasons why I love it. 

Once you see the pictures then see it in the showroom you will want one. It’s a level above all the other sporty naked motorcycles that I’ve ever seen – to date. The tech spec matches the look with bespoke parts and electronics but it’s on my list for that reason.  Unfortunately there is one reason why I will never have one and that is price! It is expensive at 60K for the RR Assen variant which I really want – that said the regular RR version is arguably as good and can be modded as an homage to the RS Assen variant. However the RR version is still $47K AUD and well out on my budget. 

Nonetheless it will appear on any of my short list was a wish, purely an aspirational model, call it a wall poster – like the ones from the 1980’s and 1990’s.
