A lot of action from Honda motorcycles for 2010. There are quite a few updates to the range but only a few worth a mention here.

The Honda CBF1000 has been updated and due for release shortly. The most obvious changes are the frame and claimed increase in power from the engine and Honda's Combined braking system. The CBF is a commuter class with a new half faired motorcycle in the same class as the Suzuki Bandit - but without the attitude.  Looking the the fairing design it would not take much to add extra covers to make it look like a sports tourer. I prefer the new VFR1200 described below - ignoring the anticipated big price gap!

The headline model being the release of the all new Honda VFR1200F. All new V4 1200cc sport touring focused motorcycle with 1237cc V4 172 HP @1000rpm and 129Nm at 8750rpm shaft drive and single sided swing arm and the latest dual clutch automatic transmission. Weighting in at 267kg (Kerb weight) its relatively good as well. I am beginning to like to new design concept from Honda very anime.

2011 CB1100 although not released till later this year (I think) this retro styled motorcycle is for the style conscious and cafe racer set.  It' a Honda so it should be pretty good.

2010 XL700V Transalp only has new colours but since someone I know it after one here it is on the news page.  It's an odd looking bike like the Kawasaki Versys.  If I was after a motorcycle in this class I prefer the KLR650 because it looks nicer.  However by all accounts it supposed to ride well - Hey Mat...
