2024 Favourite Motorcycles – MV Agusta RUSH

For 2023/2024 The MV Agusta RUSH is a motorcycle which I could really see in my garage. Just look at it! – it is a beast. But wait haven’t we’ve seen this before?  Yes this is variant of the Brutale series… 

As you probably already know the the Brutale Series is one of the best looking production motorcycles on the planet in 2024 and the RUSH Mod just makes it even better aka ‘the definitive hypernaked’. Sure the concept is not new Suzuki tried it with the Yamaha V-Max, Suzuki Hayabusa derived B-King in the last 10 years and even Kawasaki with the Z-Series continues the ‘Hyper’ or ‘Ultra’ naked motorcycle branding. Indeed the MV Agusta RUSH is just like them but looks so much better. 

I’m not going to try and highlight all the MV Agusta RUSH’s tech specs as by all accounts the claims will be tested by others no doubt but certainly not by me as I can’t afford to even consider buying the bike! Pieced over $60,000 AUD this will be a rare bike and not for the masses. 

However the marketing says this as been built for drag racing, fitted with launch control, wheelie control, 4 ECU engine mapping, 8 traction control settings, 8 injectors and a Balance counter cam shaft, electronic quick shift,  ride by wire and a Lenticular wheel. If you want more power you can purchase the Racing Kit which does away with emissions limitations. Top speed is listed as >300km aka over 300 kph. Only time will tell if the MV Agusta RUSH will be the fastest naked motorcycle on planet. 

Like the regular Brutale Series, the Rush will appear on any my short list was a wish, purely an aspirational model, call it a wall poster – like the ones from the 1980’s and 1990’s.
