Update of 04/03/2001 This week there’s been some problem with the mail servers hence some mail not getting through and mail unable to be sent by myself. Regardless I’m in the process of refocusing objective of the site. Since there’s way too much info happening world wide I feel this site is losing some appeal since I’m not a mechanic hence and live in an isolated place which is hard to get any sort of information confirmed quickly. Still focusing on the Hayabusa but definitely expanding into motorcycle culture and trends, the original purpose of why I put up the site. So stay tuned for even more interesting stuff.

Why ? I don’t want the stereo type bikie image speed junkie rebel (How many people have experienced the parental pressure NOT to ride a motorcycle.) or if you’re older the common mid-life crisis tag ?? to be placed on everyone that rides a motorcycle. Yes I am often cast in that light by others and it may be partly true but it tends to restrict the motorcycling cause. I don’t want motorcycles to fade away as other forms of transport or trends in history. I also want current riders to not lose out to increasing road degradation and traffic measures aimed at cars. Yeah, roundabouts are a hoot ! but not when there’s gravel laying on it as are speed humps if you’ve got a trailie. Wouldn’t it be nice if one-day a kid could ask their parents whether they could get a bike and they would say sure that is a sensible thing to do !

Hypocritical you might say due to the sale of my own Hayabusa within a few months, it’s because I simply will not be able to afford to keep it running. I’m considering moving overseas and need the finances to resettle. Where ? NZ of course however due to the recent political spat it might be delayed though …

For now my bike is laid up awaiting a new battery.  The battery is a 12V 10amp battery however its smaller than the norm in size. Same size as a 8amp battery. Shouldn’t be too difficult to get..however it doesn’t seem to be listed in the catalog…
