Update of 05/08/2002  This weeks topic is about the Internet. When I first ventured into the Net it was wild. Lost of indivdual websites with real information and opinions about the world in general. There where no Ads and no SPAM. Animated GIFs where all the buzz. The browser was Netscape. The WWW was essentially free, apart from the dailup costs of course. Then of course came industry and the massive and rush to commercialise it. It brought many benefits and perils. And now we’re faced with the aftermath. What went wrong ? Simple really – greed. I believe that if more time was taken to develop it we’d have an even more useful global database.

So what about bikes ? Relatively there weren’t many motocycle sites to begin with. Let’s face it motorcyle ownership is minimal in the global scale of things. Running a website isn’t the easiest of things to do as it is truly a time consuming and costly task. The benefits are really only based on personal satisfaction. You can’t earn a living doing it that’s for sure.

So what about this site ? You may have love it or you may hate it but the thing is that you will find something useful in it after all it is pretty comprensive. And the future, who knows it can only get better.
