Update 05/03/2000 : There are cyclones to the east of the Northern Territory. During the week there where cyclones on both side of the Territory. Hence Darwin is in the midst of a very wet period. Storms are unpredictable hence I haven’t been out much. Tropical cyclone Steve has actually traveled from Queensland to Western Australia. That is it reformed 3 times, an unusual occurrence. The result is flooding throughout most of Northern Australia. Hope you like the new main page ! It’s been wet enough to keep me at home and hence able to do the promised site updates it’s not finished just yet. Graphics take forever to complete !

Hayabusa suspension is getting work out due to the huge potholes and loose gravel all over Darwin roads. On standard suspension settings the rear is a tad hard. Although I do think softer suspension would lessen the Hayabusa’s handling performance, which I wouldn’t enjoy. Honestly the conditions here are deadly, especially the way I ride, the gravel basically scattered on roundabouts and corners. The rocks being thrown up by cars etc… It should get better soon and I can start doing riding assessments again so stay tuned.
Over the following weeks I’ve been developing some new pages for 250cc bikes. Why ? I love the revving and the madness associated with keeping an engine on the boil. There are almost no sites revealing these little gems. Plus – I may just get one !

NEWS : I Just heard that Yoshimura are selling their modified race version of the Hayabusa. There will be only 1000 mode. Named the X1 the Hayabusa will have close to 200 bhp.
