Harley Davidson FXSB Breakout

Harley Davidson FXSB ‘Breakout’

The 10th most popular motorcycle in Australia in 2017 was  the Harley Davidson FXSB selling 1150 units. The FXSB is also called the ‘Breakout’. The FXSB is the 103 engined version, the FXSR is the 107 and FXSRS is the 113 versions.

In typical Harley Davidson fashion it is part of the softail range,  meaning it doesn’t look like it has rear suspension. It’s a typical Harley Davidson design that looks great. It really gives a solid impression that most other cruisers don’t have at standstill even those similar in size and capacity and the sound when on the move. The Harley sound is created by the vintage why the engine has been deliberately designed.

The Harley Davison FXSB it’s about the brand image, looks, life style implications, customisation and of course the sound, certainly more than ultimate performance given the engine size. Speaking of customization you really need to do it as the FXSB is clearly very popular to be a statement of uniqueness or being ‘special’.

Just one look at the Harley Davidson FXSB and it tells you this is an expensive motorcycle and priced at $30,000 AUD in standard trim it’s expensive! $30,000 will buy you a high spec Toyota Corolla, Mazda 3 or entry level Toyota Camry as a comparison. The comparison to these popular cars is relevant as this is a popular motorcycle! which probably explains why there receive so many customisation options. S0 if the Harley Davidson brand and experience works for you  then go for it.
