Welcome to my new Australian Learner and LAMS motorcycles section of reviews and comparisons section of the website. If my failing memory is correct? I had the Suzuki Across and other 250cc motorcycle reviews and specifications on this website prior to 2008. However history is prone to repeating its self and as I wind down my involvement with the other BLOGs the content is being transferred back here. (Finally I’m also extending the description of these motorcycles to commuter and cafe racer compatible.)

The most significant event to happen to the learner motorcycle class has been the introduction of Australian LAMS (Learner approved motorcycle scheme) legislation the choice of models have expanded considerable. No longer are new learner and returning motorcyclists restricted to 250cc motorcycles. Instead there is a list of models both old and new that can be legally ridden. Governments rarely make the right decisions and at least this is a step in the right direction for everyone. New content is being written and older articles will be transferred from the old websites over the next few months.
